Why choose Us

We do more than just adjust the spine at Brisbane Posture and Performance. Our Brisbane chiropractors will conduct a thorough examination, undertake a digital posture analysis, and refer you for further investigations and imaging (when required). This approach means that both our team and our clients have a thorough understanding of what is required to achieve desired heath and wellbeing goals. Treatment involves a series of stretches and then a full body adjustment, including the spine, feet, knees, hips/pelvis, shoulders, elbows and hands, when clinically required.

A Passion for Chiropractic

Our passion at Brisbane Posture and Performance is to give our clients freedom from pain and dysfunction. Our Brisbane chiropractors partner with patients and empower them by providing a greater understanding of how the body works.

We have developed a unique postural technique that focuses on working through a client’s trauma and injury history, and decreasing the body’s mechanical age. We start by undertaking comprehensive examinations to assess what is limiting them, and then set our clients goals by formulating a customised treatment plan designed to achieve realistic outcomes.

The reason we are chiropractors is that we take real enjoyment from our practice members sharing their wins and accomplishments with all the team.

What Our Brisbane Chiropractors Do

At Brisbane Posture and Performance, we are proud of our patient centred, goal oriented service. Our chiropractors in Brisbane use a unique posture focused technique called ABC™ (Advanced Biostructural Correction™) which enables them to have a deep and profound understanding of posture and how it impacts on the body’s structure and function, so much so that they are now leaders in their fields. In addition to our chiropractic adjustments, we also provide our patients with sitting, standing and sleeping education services. Our aim is always to foster and promote musculoskeletal and postural improvement in all of our clients, through working together in the development of personalised treatment plans.

Posture and Performance Chiropractor Brisbane

Dr Kyle Holmes is a Brisbane chiropractor with more than a decade’s experience in helping people achieve their musculoskeletal health goals. After relocating from the northern beaches of Sydney, Dr Holmes started his first Queensland practice on the north side of Brisbane in 2015.

His unique approach helped the practice to grow quickly, and so Dr Holmes moved to his current expanded premises, alongside Fitness First and Creek Road General Practice, in Carindale.

In the short time he has been in this location, the practice has expanded rapidly, and Dr Noble has been brought on board to assist in caring for practice members.

Our caring team goes to great lengths to understand your individual needs and goals, and you can feel comfortable and confident that you are always in good hands.

Frequently Asked Questions

When do I need a Chiropractor?

Chiropractic care can benefit many from kids to the elderly. If you have concerns about:

-your or your children’s posture

-pain you are experiencing

-an injury you have

-a whiplash

-your ergonomic setups

Or if you are looking to improve your health in general or lifestyle, then please give our friendly team a call to book a time to come in and meet one of our Chiropractors who can determine how they can best help you.

What can I expect on my first visit?

When you enter Brisbane Posture and Performance Chiropractic in Carindale you will be greeted by our friendly staff and asked to fill out a patient history form. This is so we have all the relevant information about you current complaint and any relevant medical history to best assess how we can help you. Next we will head into the examination room where one of the Chiropractors will go through that history with you. Please ask any questions, we will be happy to answer them.

Next a thorough physical examination will be performed, consisting of orthopaedic, neurological, and musculoskeletal exams. We will take a digital posture scan to measure and assess posture and areas of stress and then if required refer you for x-rays. This will give us lots of important information about your health so we can decide how to best help you. After we have gathered all the required test results, the Dr will make a clinical decision whether it is safe and appropriate to commence treatment immediately or send you for further investigations. Once this has occurred our team will assess all the information and will discuss results and recommendations with you at the next visit.

What does a consultation cost?

An initial consultation: $125 for an adult and $120 for a child (under 16).

Standard Consultation: $75 for an adult and $70 for a child(under 16).

Initial Transient ABC client: $95 for an adult and $80 for a child(under 16).

We take into account peoples financial and family situation and offer healthcare packages to assist those in need. All major private healthcare insurance providers are accepted and can be claimed immediately through our Healthpay terminal.

How many sessions would I need?

As all bodies are different so too will be their needs and goals. On your initial consultation we will perform an extensive assessment to give you a diagnosis and clear picture of what is required and how many treatments it will take to reach your goal. Our recommendation will then be given to you at the second consultation. It will be your decision on what treatment you decide to have and what goals you intend to achieve. We tailor to each individual’s needs, be that simple pain relief or long term postural correction.

What is the ABC Technique?

ABC stands for Advanced BioStructural Correction and is a full body Chiropractic posture improvement technique. Its goal is to find and correct structural misalignments that the body cannot self-correct on its own. Through removing these misalignments this allows the bodies remarkable self-healing process to occur. It can be used for simple pain management or long term postural correction. It is possible to treat bodies of all shapes, sizes and ages.

Are there any special considerations I should be awere of?

We will fully explain our findings, recommendations and treatment plans so that you understand what will be happening at all stages of care. We cater our techniques to the patients specific needs, such as modified techniques during pregnancy care or for kids. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions that we can help with.

Are X-Rays a Requirement?

No they are not. Our Chiropractors will assess every patient individually to see if X-rays are clinically indicated. Just as Dentists frequently use X-rays to get a clear picture of what lies beneath the surface, we may need to get X-rays to completely understand your unique spinal structure and how we can best assist you. X-rays can show levels of arthritic degeneration, underlying pathologies and structural anomalies so the chiropractor has all the relevant information to understand how to help you reach your goals.

Do you accept Private health insurance?

Yes we do. We have the hicaps terminal in our clinic which allows you to swipe your private health fund card and claim instantly, so you just pay the remaining amount.

Do you sell postural supports?

Yes our team will give all clients recommendations on how to best support your posture between treatments. Most of us sit, stand and sleep for 8 hours a day so the position we are in during these times vastly impacts on our posture and overall health.

We sell support products that allow us to be in the correct posture for extended periods with the smallest effort possible.
